How tech had changed us
Technology has come a long way and now we have too much to choose from. There’s 3d tv, Plasma television and GPS Navigace systems. Remember when it was black and white with rabbit ears and maps and globes? Now when you’re looking for electronics there are options we couldn’t even fathom when we were children. Everything’s HD and gone are those rabbit ears and at times foil to enhance your reception. The factors considered when selecting a new TV set have changed. We need to be educated on all the specialized jargon, from LED televize to LCD televize to plasma, full array to Edge lit, 600Hz to 160Hz, and Plasma to 3D. That’s simply your entertainment. What about your road trip. No more navigating with an atlas.
Why bother teaching kids how to read one. GPS stands for Global Positioning System and with it you are provided with reliable location in all weather, at all times and anyplace on Earth. Why bother using a road atlas when your GPS can give you a map database. Using the map database, the unit device can give directions to other places along roads also in its database. Step by step and when to turn. It isn’t you navigators fault any more when you take a wrong turn and are now lost. You just didn’t listen to your GPS.
So having all this new technology one would think we’ve become spoiled and lazy. That’s not the case whatever purchase involved considerable research to simply understand what we are receiving and how it is used. Our children know much more regarding these products than we might ever wish to understand. The world has changed and technology wise it is for the better
Eventhough the technology is advanced and still growing you need to acknowledge it does make everyday life a lot more enjoyable. If you’re traveling for work you might discover a more efficient route saving you time and money. No more wearing those paper two tone eyeglasses and going to the theater to watch your 3d movie. No more dealing with poor picture quality and missing out on vibrant colors. Everything is there at home instead of spending money on popcorn and sweets in the theater. Sure we changed but values are still the same.
Youngsters even now fight and adults still argue over the same things they did hundreds of years ago. The main problem is that technology changes too fast. There are individuals out there who fear change and resist it. But due to the pressures to compete with other nations technology will always keep changing whether or not people need it or not. We are actually being forced into using something they have no understanding of. But fear not. With each new change come a new group of professionals to advice and teach us the fundamentals we need to use and understand out the purchase.
